Welcome to our FAQ section, where we address some commonly asked questions to provide you with the information you need.
Jovy offers the simplest subscription plan on the planet and will scale your business as needed to handle your growth. We do that with a low monthly fee to cover ALL features. Every user on the Jovy platform gets ALL features, there are no tiers and no extra cost to get more features. You don’t need to be a multi-billion dollar company to get access to tools that will help your business grow. As your business grows there is higher pressure on our systems and infrastructure so we account for that with a simple $0.29 per transaction fee. And then we take care of everything - you just focus on growing your business.
A simple marketplace conversion (from Etsy for example) takes just a few hours, but you will have a few decisions to make. We will work closely with you to pick your theme colors, make sure you have logos and payment processing and other “stuff” to make sure your i’s are dotted and t’s crossed so you can put your best foot forward when you go live. As a result, you can expect 7-10 days, but we’ll go as fast as you can.
If you don’t actually go live, you won’t get charged. There’s truly no risk to getting started with us. That keeps us motivated to do a good job for you and you are motivated to get your site live. But if it doesn’t actually happen, well, we lose. Once your customers can start placing orders on your site, you’ll be charged the launch fee. It’s the way business should be.
Simple, we have a standard set of templates for the front end of your website. And most conversions from the marketplaces (like Etsy) fall within our standard setup and into those standard templates. Products on your site will appear similarly to how they appear on the marketplaces. If you prefer a different approach or you’d like fireworks to go off every time someone adds something to their basket, we’ll estimate what it’ll take to build the fireworks. Anything that is out of our standard scope (which you’ll understand up front) will be additional, and you’ll have an estimate of what that’ll be up-front. If the scope changes during launch resulting in a reduction or increase in costs, you’ll also know that right away. Oh, and here’s some super coolness - if you’re asking for a feature that we agree to build and ultimately push out to all clients, you won’t be billed for that feature.
Nothing really. There are situations that could extend the timeline and as long as we’re communicating regularly we’ll keep the project active. If you ghost us, well, then we’ll need to part ways and remove your data from our servers.
It means your site is no longer in Sandbox Mode. Sandbox mode is a simple way to test your site without capturing “real” orders. But once you’re out of Sandbox mode and into Live mode you can scream from the mountaintops of InstaTikBookFaceAgram that you have arrived and are ready to open the floodgates of orders.
